Our piping slip was designed specifically for you! We worked with chemist to assure that is was a premium product and worked like nothing you used before. And trust me... I have used them all.
Our piping slip will not roll off, crack or run. It is a clay based product, it does not have glaze in it, so it stays were you put it. Just see what you can do with it.....
Want color piping: You can make your own by adding an EZ stroke/ One Stroke or better yet CFE CC's. Play around to determine how dark you want your piping. DO NOT add a glaze based product to it...like a concept.
You can use our piping in low fire or high fire. Meaning if you hand throw your own ceramics or use porcelain, it can be used on the green ware and or bisque ware.
You can use it on top of fired or non fired glazes. Example, sometimes if you put one coat of clear and let you dry you can pipe on top of that. Why, well when you are using a tinted piping and make a error, you can lift it off with out it staining the bisque. Makes it adhere better and I like it when working with concepts. Also, if you have a fired glaze piece you can place a coat of glaze over the piece and then pipe over that and then add your color. etc.
You can build up the piping, thin with some water and use a brush to apply and then you can either leave as a brush stroke and or you can carve it. You can stipple it on and add texture you can sponge it on to add texture.
